The professional association of sugar beet growers in Bohemia (Čechy), founded in 1990 in Bezno. It represents growers before ministries, the Agrární komora and the sugar factories, negotiates purchase contracts and checks beet intake and sugar content at the factories. Together with the Moravian-Silesian association it forms the Czech national association, which has been a member of the European beet growers' confederation (CIBE) since 1992.
Voluntary. Sugar beet growers can join; members' rights and duties are set out in the statutes. According to the website there are about 320 members with an average of about 76 ha of sugar beet (from 5 to 500 ha). Growers in Moravia and Silesia have their own association (Svaz pěstitelů cukrovky Moravy a Slezska).
