Voluntary
A voluntary professional association of owners and managers of non-state forests, with three chambers: municipal, private and church forests. Founded in 1992 as the association of municipal forest owners, it has been open to private owners since 1996 and took its current name in 2021. In March 2026 it had 736 direct members, about 1,600 forest owners and almost 545,000 ha of forest (about 21% of Czech forests), organised in 9 regional organisations.
Voluntary. Direct members can be municipalities, towns, regions, municipal forest cooperatives owning forests, or legal entities set up to manage such forests. Private forest owners, owner associations or managing legal entities join through the Komora soukromých lesů (a separate legal entity); managers of church forests through the Komora církevních lesů. The signed application is sent by post or e-mail; admission is confirmed by the republikový výbor.

From 2027 the rates are indexed to inflation each year (max. 7%).
