The Bremischer Landwirtschaftsverband e.V. (Bauernverband Bremen) is the voluntary professional body of farmers in the state of Bremen. It represents agriculture in all its branches towards politics, business and society, and as a member of the German Farmers' Association (Deutscher Bauernverband) it is also active nationally. According to the website (2017 data), Bremen has 145 farms on 8,050 ha, mostly grassland (6,409 ha), with about 10,000 cattle.
