Bauernverband Sachsen-Anhalt

The Bauernverband Sachsen-Anhalt e.V. represents farmers in the state of Saxony-Anhalt from its base in Magdeburg; it consists of 11 district unions, each with a local office. Its technical committees (e.g. crop production, dairy, energy) assess draft legislation, and farmers' positions are put to politicians, the media and the authorities. It is a member of the German Farmers' Association (Deutscher Bauernverband) and offers members legal and social advice, information and discounts.

Voluntary. You can apply online; the application goes to the district union (Kreisverband) you select on the form, which then contacts you. Supporting membership is also possible.

The organisation does not publish its membership fee — please ask directly.
