The Bauern- und Winzerverband Rheinland-Pfalz Süd (BWV Süd) is the voluntary union of farmers and winegrowers in southern Rhineland-Palatinate (Rheinhessen and the Palatinate), based in Mainz. Its more than 12,000 members are organised in 611 local associations and 10 district unions; three regional offices cover North and West Palatinate, Front and South Palatinate, and Rheinhessen. Members get free or low-cost services, including bookkeeping and tax advice.
Voluntary. People working in agriculture, forestry and wine-growing can join with a membership declaration; the regional offices explain the details.
The organisation does not publish its membership fee — please ask directly.
