Who are they?

About

Germany's largest association of rural women and their families, founded in 1948. It reports about 450,000 members in 22 regional associations and some 12,000 local clubs. It represents the political interests of rural women and of farm women (Bäuerinnen) as a profession and runs the largest education network for women. It aims to improve quality of life, working conditions and social participation in rural areas.

Voluntary. Any woman living in the countryside can join, not only farm women; membership is through the regional association for your area (and its local club).

What does it cost?

Membership fee

The organisation does not publish its membership fee — please ask directly.
