The Landesbauernverband Brandenburg e.V. (LBV) is the farmers' union of the state of Brandenburg; it reports representing more than 3,500 farms. It is independent of political parties, supports and coordinates the work of the district and regional farmers' unions, and is a member of the German Farmers' Association (Deutscher Bauernverband). It represents all farmers – family and corporate farms, organic and conventional, livestock and arable.
Voluntary. Farmers in Brandenburg can join; local contact is through the district and regional farmers' unions (Kreis- und Regionalbauernverbände), and you can apply by online registration on the website. The website gives no detailed membership conditions.
