The Rheinischer Landwirtschafts-Verband (RLV) is the voluntary farmers' union for the Rhineland part of North Rhine-Westphalia, based in Bonn and active for more than 75 years. It represents about 15,000 members – arable, livestock, dairy and specialty crop farms – and about 95% of Rhineland farms belong to it. It is organised in local, district and regional farmers' groups (Bauernschaften), with 12 district offices.
Voluntary. Farmers in the Rhineland (Düsseldorf and Cologne administrative districts) can join; membership is handled by the district farmers' group (Kreisbauernschaft) for your area.
The organisation does not publish its membership fee — please ask directly.
