The Sächsischer Landesbauernverband e.V. (SLB) is the professional body of agriculture and forestry in Saxony, founded in 1991 and based in Dresden. It reports representing about 3,300 members – farms, corporate members, hunting cooperatives and individual members – and is a member of the German Farmers' Association (Deutscher Bauernverband). Its members are the district and regional farmers' unions and Saxon agricultural associations (e.g. cattle and pig breeders), for which it also acts as umbrella.
Voluntary. You belong to the SLB by being a member of one of the 11 regional or district farmers' unions (basic membership); after you fill in the website form, your regional union contacts you. Associations and institutions can become corporate members (application by e-mail).
The organisation does not publish its membership fee — please ask directly. The regional union informs about the basic membership fee.
For information only, not legal advice. Mandatory membership is set by local law — each profile lists its source.
