Voluntary
An independent, non-profit Spanish association promoting conservation agriculture, based in Córdoba at the IFAPA research centre. Conservation agriculture rests on three principles: no tillage (direct drilling), keeping at least 30% of the soil surface covered with crop residues, and crop rotation; in orchards and olive groves, cover crops. It organises field days, congresses and courses, runs research and demonstration projects and publishes the journal Revista AC. Under an agreement with the Ministry of Agriculture it runs an online training portal (portalformativoac.es) for training linked to the CAP Strategic Plan 2023–2027.
Voluntary. Any natural person (farmer, adviser, researcher) or legal person (company, public body) interested in farming that conserves the soil and its biodiversity can join. You apply by e-mail or phone to the association's office.
