A Spanish national organisation of rural women and families, active since 1982 and since 2009 a confederation of federations and associations. It aims to make rural women's voices heard and achieve real equality of opportunity; it reports more than 180,000 members and is present in almost all autonomous communities. It took part in shaping rural women's access to social security and the rules on joint farm ownership, and runs training. It has consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
Voluntary. Women and families living in rural areas, as well as rural women's associations, can join through the regional delegations.
The organisation does not publish its membership fee — please ask directly.
