The national trade union (syndicat professionnel) of producers of French wines, wine spirits, vins doux naturels and liqueur wines with a protected designation of origin (AOC/AOP), active since 1924 and called "La Maison des Vignerons" since 2025. It represents 18 regional AOC winegrowers' federations and 386 AOCs. Its six commissions deal with the life and management of AOCs, market regulation, sustainability, taxation, social affairs and communication. It is for winegrowers in AOC areas.
CNAOC's members are the regional AOC federations; a winegrower is not a member directly but is linked through the federation of their area and the appellation's defence body (ODG). To use an AOC name, the producer must register with the relevant ODG — the details are given by that ODG and by INAO.
Winegrowers do not pay CNAOC directly; ask the regional federation and the ODG about their own fees.
