A cooperation of producer marketing and service cooperatives and organisations, building on the tradition of the historic Hangya cooperative movement; it was founded by 14 cooperatives in 1998. According to its website it has nearly 200 member organisations, with about 30,000 producers through them. It promotes cooperation among producers and producer-owned food processing, and supports members with news, a knowledge base, a members' forum and events.
Voluntary. Members are cooperatives and producer organisations (e.g. producer organisations and producer groups); a farmer is connected through their member organisation (local cooperative). The website says nothing about direct membership for individual farmers — ask them directly.
The organisation does not publish its membership fee — please ask them directly.
