Országos Erdészeti Egyesület (OEE)

The professional association of foresters, active since 1866, with local groups and specialist sections. It mainly brings together forestry professionals but welcomes anyone committed to forests. It publishes the journal Erdészeti Lapok and organises Forest Week, the Night of Forests and annual assemblies.

Voluntary. Anyone can join as an individual member, usually through a local group; forest enterprises and companies can join as supporting members.

In 2026: HUF 15,500 per year for active earners; HUF 5,900 per year for pensioners, students, people on parental leave, the unemployed and foreign members. Can be paid in two instalments (2 February and 15 June).
