The national association of Polish sugar beet growers; its roots go back to 1921. Through regional associations working in the catchment areas of the sugar factories (32–37 according to the website) it brings together some 33,000–35,000 growers. It represents growers before the sugar industry and the government, negotiates the inter-branch agreement, and monitors the performance of cultivation contracts and beet reception at the factories. According to its own website it has been a member of the European beet growers' confederation (CIBE) since 1995.
Voluntary. A farmer can join the regional sugar beet growers' association operating in the catchment area of the sugar factory that buys their beet; the regional associations make up KZPBC.
Membership fees are collected by the regional associations; the organisation does not publish the amount — please ask directly.
For information only, not legal advice. Mandatory membership is set by local law — each profile lists its source.
