The national federation of Polish dairy cattle breeders and milk producers, founded in 1995; through 21 regional and breed associations it brings together more than 8,000 members. Under ministerial authorisation it keeps the herd book for dairy breeds and carries out performance recording (milk recording, type classification) nationwide. It runs its own milk and genetics laboratories, advisory services and herd management software (Stado OnLine).
Voluntary. The federation's members are the regional and breed associations; a farmer joins the association for their region or breed and belongs to PFHBiPM through it. Milk recording and herd-book services can also be used without association membership (for a fee).
Membership fees are collected by the regional associations; the organisation does not publish the amount — please ask directly. Fees for performance recording and laboratory tests are in the price list (Cennik) on the website.
For information only, not legal advice. Mandatory membership is set by local law — each profile lists its source.
