The national association of Polish sheep and goat breeders, founded in 1958, with an office in Warsaw. It brings together 11 regional sheep and goat breeders' associations, which work directly with farmers: they carry out on-farm performance recording and enter animals in the herd books. The association runs breeding programmes for 28 sheep and 4 goat breeds (including conservation breeds), and its representative sits on the sheep meat promotion fund committee (2025–2029).
Voluntary. PZOw's members are the regional sheep and goat breeders' associations and other organisations working for sheep and goat keeping. A farmer joins the regional association for their area (addresses on the PZOw website) and belongs to PZOw through it.
