The national federation of Polish beekeepers, with an office in Warsaw; its members are the regional beekeepers' unions and associations. It represents beekeepers before the central authorities, works to protect bees against diseases and poisoning and for the legal protection of honey, and promotes Polish honey. It runs training for beekeepers and would-be beekeepers and publishes the monthly “Pszczelarz Polski”.
Voluntary. PZP's ordinary members are beekeepers' organisations with legal personality and at least 200 members. A beekeeper joins the union or club for their area; if it is a PZP member, they may use the title “PZP member” (through one member organisation only).
Member organisations pay fees to PZP, and beekeepers pay their own union; the organisation does not publish the amount — please ask directly.
For information only, not legal advice. Mandatory membership is set by local law — each profile lists its source.
