The cooperative of Slovak Spotted (Simmental) cattle breeders, founded on 20 February 1992. As a recognised breeding organisation it keeps the breed's herdbook, carries out linear classification with the FLECKSCORE system, selects breeding animals and organises shows and breed reviews. More than 100 breeding farms and individuals are members.
Voluntary. Farms and individuals in Slovakia breeding Slovak Spotted (Simmental) cattle — and, according to the price list, Montbéliarde and Brown (Braunvieh, Brown Swiss) — can join with the application form on the website.
One-off membership deposit (price list valid from 1 July 2026, excl. VAT): legal entities €1.66 per animal, for at least 100 animals, i.e. at least €166; individuals €17. A further 10% of the deposit is charged for the indivisible fund. The price list mentions no annual fee; members pay less for herdbook services (e.g. zootechnical certificate for a bull €13 versus €26 for non-members).
