The cooperative of beef cattle breeders in Slovakia, founded in 1994. Since 1 January 1999 it has been a breeding organisation recognised under Act 194/1998: it keeps the herdbook for more than 15 beef breeds (e.g. Angus, Charolais, Limousin, Hereford, Highland) and their crosses, issues pedigree certificates and evaluates bulls. In 2018 its 192 members kept about 65,000 suckler cows.
Voluntary. Beef cattle breeders can join by sending a written application to the union's office; membership begins on signing the membership form and paying the basic membership deposit.
One-off basic membership deposit: €331.94 for legal entities, €33.19 for individuals. The annual fee under the price list valid from 2 November 2025 is €100 per year (for both legal entities and individuals, excl. VAT). Non-members pay a 100% surcharge on service prices.
