Voluntary
The cooperative of sheep and goat breeders in Slovakia, based in Banská Bystrica and registered since 1995. It keeps the herdbooks and breeding registers for sheep and goats, organises ram markets and publishes the magazine Chov oviec a kôz. It is for farmers who keep sheep or goats and for those who process sheep's milk.
Voluntary. Both natural and legal persons can apply with the form on the website (by e-mail or post); the union then sends an invoice, and membership starts once it is paid and the conditions in the statutes are met.
Under the price list valid from 31 March 2026 the annual fee is €100 + VAT (€123), and the one-off entry fee is €33. Herdbook services are cheaper for members (e.g. zootechnical certificate for a ewe €13 versus €20 for non-members, incl. VAT).
Fee basis: flat annual fee
