Unabhängiger Bauernverband (UBV)

A non-partisan farmers' association whose founding principles date from 1952 (independence from parties, cost-covering prices). It has provincial branches, stands in chamber elections and has a seat in the SVS general assembly. Its demands and protests focus mainly on producer prices and the burdens on farmers.

Voluntary membership: you join with a membership declaration (online or on a downloadable form). The fee is billed by the provincial branch.

At least €30 a year (Upper Austria, Carinthia, Salzburg, Vorarlberg), €40 (Lower Austria, Burgenland, Vienna, Tyrol) or €50 (Styria), according to the membership declaration.
