Voluntary
The national federation of organic farmers and processors; it started as a club in 1983 and has been a federation of nine member associations since 2005. It represents organic farmers at home and internationally, runs the Biokultúra organic market, and owns the inspection and certification body Biokontroll Hungária. Organic certification itself is done separately by a control body.
Voluntary. The federation has no individual members: farmers, individuals and companies join through one of the member associations (six regional Biokultúra associations, the Hungarian Biodynamic Association, the Biokultúra association of processors and the Hungarian Organic Beekeepers' Association).
The organisation does not publish its membership fee — please ask them directly (fees are set by the member association).
