Voluntary
The body representing winegrowers in the Mosel wine region; it has no website of its own and works within the Bauern- und Winzerverband Rheinland-Nassau (BWV, Koblenz), together with the winegrowers' associations of the Ahr, Mittelrhein and Nahe. With the BWV it represents members on wine law, plant protection, fertilisation and subsidy policy, at state level and, through the Deutscher Weinbauverband, at national and EU level. The BWV also hosts the Schutzgemeinschaft Mosel, the producer group for the Mosel origin designations (g.U. Mosel, Landwein der Mosel/Saar/Ruwer).
Voluntary. Winegrowers and wineries in the Mosel wine region (Rhineland-Palatinate, Koblenz and Trier districts) belong to it as members of the BWV Rheinland-Nassau; joining is handled by the BWV.
