Asociación Ecovalia (Ecovalia)

The Spanish professional association for organic production (producción ecológica), based in Seville with an office in Brussels; it has more than 35 years of history. Its members are organic farmers, livestock keepers and processing companies (meat, dairy, wine, beer, spirits, olive oil, fruit and vegetables). It represents the sector with Spanish and EU authorities, informs about regulation, subsidies and the market, and organises training, promotion and international projects. It is a member of IFOAM Organics Europe; organic certification is not done by the association.

Voluntary. Organic farmers, livestock keepers and organic food processing companies can join; membership is taken out on the website by choosing a membership plan.

Annual fee (2026, incl. VAT): „Bio” basic plan €95, „Ecológico” €295, „Orgánico” €495. The higher plans add joint trade-fair participation and in-store promotion, sector meetings, more visibility and bigger training discounts.
