Unió de Pagesos de Catalunya (UP)

Catalonia's farmers' union since 1974, for self-employed crop farmers, livestock keepers and foresters. It reports more than 6,000 members and won 65% of the vote in the 2021 Catalan farm elections. It offers advice and services through about 40 district offices and, as an employers' organisation, negotiates the Catalan farm-work collective agreement. It is a founding member of the Spanish Unión de Uniones.

Voluntary. Self-employed crop farmers, livestock keepers and foresters in Catalonia can join by filling in the membership form (sent by e-mail, WhatsApp or via online pre-registration). Retired farmers can ask for a discount.

The organisation does not publish its membership fee — please ask directly. The fee is paid by direct debit; the membership form provides a special discount for retired farmers.
