No direct farmer membership
The national federation of French agricultural, agri-food and forestry cooperatives. It represents about 2,000 cooperative businesses (EUR 116 billion turnover together, 93% are small and medium-sized firms), with sector divisions (e.g. dairy, grain, feed, wine, sugar beet, livestock) and regional federations. Farmers are linked to it through their own cooperative. It is a member of Cogeca.
Members are cooperatives and cooperative federations; a farmer is not a direct member but belongs to the network as a member of a local cooperative.
Farmers pay no fee to the federation; the cooperatives' fees are not published.
