Italy's first farm-tourism association, founded by Confagricoltura in 1965; the word “agriturismo” was coined together with it. It helps farms that offer rural hospitality with legal, organisational and marketing matters, and promotes members through a booking site and an online shop. It is made up of regional associations and provincial sections based in the local Confagricoltura offices.
Voluntary. Any farm that runs or plans to run farm tourism can become an ordinary member; farm-holiday enthusiasts can join as supporting members. Membership goes through the regional or provincial Confagricoltura office.
The organisation does not publish its membership fee — please ask directly.
