Confederazione Nazionale Coldiretti (Coldiretti)

Italy's largest farmers' organisation, founded in 1944. It reports 1.6 million members and is present in almost every municipality through 20 regional and 95 provincial federations, 869 zone offices and 3,576 municipal sections. It represents farmers in Rome and Brussels and offers administrative, tax and training services. Its Campagna Amica network (about 20,000 farms, markets, agritourisms and shops) supports direct selling.

Voluntary. Agricultural entrepreneurs, cooperatives, fishing businesses and agri-food supply-chain companies can join; membership is arranged through the provincial federation or the nearest zone office.

The organisation does not publish its membership fee — please ask directly.
