Italy's oldest farm organisation (1920, in its current form since 1948), mainly representing farm businesses and agricultural employers. It reports over 200,000 member farms, producing about 45% of Italy's agricultural output and employing more than 500,000 workers. It works through regional federations, provincial unions and over 2,200 offices, plus sector and product federations. On the employers' side it signs the national and provincial collective agreements for farm workers.
