Legacoop Agroalimentare - Associazione Nazionale cooperative agroitticoalimentari per lo sviluppo rurale e costiero (Legacoop Agroalimentare)

The national association of agricultural, food and fishing cooperatives belonging to Legacoop, active since 1957. Its 2024 figures show 1,396 active cooperatives with 202,517 members and 28,811 employees, from wineries and dairies to fruit and vegetable cooperatives. It represents and supports member cooperatives and, through the Alleanza delle Cooperative Italiane, is a member of Cogeca.

Voluntary. Agricultural, agro-industrial, fishing and aquaculture cooperatives belonging to Legacoop, their consortia and subsidiaries can join (Statutes, 2024). Applications are made under the Legacoop statutes; farmers are linked through their cooperative.

Member cooperatives pay an annual contribution whose rates are set by the association's bodies; the amounts are not published — please ask directly.
