No direct farmer membership
The national umbrella of Polish sector-specific agricultural producer unions, founded in 1991 (informally active since 1982). It currently groups 29 national sector unions covering pigs, sheep, horses, cattle, poultry, honey, cereals, maize, potatoes, fruit and vegetables, sugar beet, tobacco, hops and forestry. It represents its members before parliament, government and local authorities and is a member of Copa and Cogeca.
Farmers are not direct members: under the statute, ordinary members are national sector producer unions; a farmer is connected through their own sector union. Legal persons working for agriculture can be supporting members.
Farmers pay nothing directly. Member unions pay fees set by the general assembly; the organisation does not publish the amount — please ask directly.
For information only, not legal advice. Mandatory membership is set by local law — each profile lists its source.
