The national association of Polish rapeseed and protein crop growers, founded in 1999 (under its current name since 2012), with an office in Warsaw. It works through seven district associations and represents growers before the government and the oilseed industry. It publishes the “Nasz Rzepak” bulletin three times a year, organises demonstration plots, forums and the Eurorzepak event, and monitors rapeseed and soybean prices.
Voluntary. Any grower of rapeseed and/or protein crops can be an ordinary member: fill in the membership declaration and pay the fee. Members belong to the district association (OZPRiRB) for their voivodeship.
The fee is PLN 2 per tonne of harvested rapeseed and/or protein crops; for each harvest year it is due within 14 days after the crushing plant pays for the crop, and by the end of the year at the latest. If a member grows no rapeseed or protein crops that year, the fee is PLN 50. Only members who have paid can use the member benefits.
Fee basis: area/volume-based
