Voluntary
The recognised breeding organisation for five pony and small horse breeds (Hucul, Shetland pony, Fjord, Haflinger, Hungarian sport pony), founded in 1995. It runs the breeding programmes and stud books, brings breeders together and promotes equestrian culture through competitions and youth programmes. It is for farmers who keep and breed these breeds.
Membership is voluntary and open to breeders of the breeds above. Only herds in the breeding programme can produce registered foals and trade breeding animals; the herd and membership must be reported or confirmed by declaration. The website does not give detailed conditions.
The organisation does not publish its membership fee — ask them directly.
For information only, not legal advice. Mandatory membership is set by local law — each profile lists its source.
