The cattle breeding cooperative of Tyrol, formed in 2018 by merging the Tyrolean breeding organisations. With about 6,200 members it is Austria's largest cattle breeding organisation; it is based in Innsbruck, in the building of the Tyrol agricultural chamber. It provides breeding advice, performance recording and livestock marketing.
Voluntary membership for cattle keepers in Tyrol. To have cows entered in the herd book (Herdebuch) and to sell breeding stock at the association's auctions, you take part in the association's breeding programme, which in practice goes through membership. The website does not state exact entry conditions.
The organisation does not publish its membership fee — please ask directly.
For information only, not legal advice. Mandatory membership is set by local law — each profile lists its source.
