Who are they?

About

The civic association of Slovak fruit growers, founded in 1991. It deals with quality fruit and nursery stock production, planting and renewing orchards and integrated fruit production, and helps members join producer organisations. It offers professional events (e.g. Jablko roka – Apple of the Year, pre-Christmas fruit-growing days), advice and information. It is a member of SPPK. It is for commercial fruit growers.

Membership is voluntary. Any natural or legal person that accepts the statutes, rules of procedure and programme can join. You submit a written request (there is an online application form on the website), and the board decides on admission. Retired experts can become honorary members free of charge.
