The civic association of Slovak beekeepers, bringing together beekeepers and friends of bees; it has more than 16,100 beekeepers and almost 250,000 bee colonies. It works through local basic organisations. It represents beekeepers' interests and works on proving the origin of Slovak honey (e.g. a QR-code label). It is a member of the Slovak agricultural chamber (SPPK).
Membership is voluntary and usually goes through a local basic organisation. We could not check the exact admission conditions and statutes because the union's website cannot be accessed automatically — ask the nearest basic organisation.
The organisation does not publish its membership fee — please ask directly.
