The body representing winegrowers in Burgenland — in its own words, „the winegrowers' union” — attached to the Landwirtschaftskammer Burgenland. It was set up in 1923 as the provincial winegrowers' association and is a member of the national Österreichischer Weinbauverband. Its delegates' assembly elects the president and the 15-member board, where wine areas are represented according to their membership numbers. It holds an annual Weinbautag (viticulture day).
Voluntary; for winegrowers in Burgenland. Public sources do not give joining details — please ask the LK Burgenland.
The organisation does not publish its membership fee — please ask them directly.
For information only, not legal advice. Mandatory membership is set by local law — each profile lists its source.
