Chamber of agriculture · Czechia · regional
Voluntary
The regional agrarian chamber of the Hradec Králové Region, working under Act No. 301/1992 as the regional level of the Agrární komora ČR (AK ČR). It brings together the region's 5 district agrarian chambers (Hradec Králové, Náchod, Jičín, Rychnov nad Kněžnou, Trutnov). It also runs the regional information centre (KIS), which informs and advises farmers on the Common Agricultural Policy, subsidies and legislation. It is for agricultural, forestry, fishery and food businesses.
Membership is voluntary (zákon č. 301/1992 Sb. § 5 odst. 3). Any natural or legal person running an agricultural, forestry, fishery or food business in the Hradec Králové Region can join. You join through your district agrarian chamber; the district chambers are members of AK ČR, so you also belong to the AK ČR network. KIS information is available without membership.
The fee is collected by the district chamber. At the Hradec Králové district chamber it is CZK 22/ha of farmed land, at least CZK 700 a year; for businesses without land by agreement. In other districts the district chamber sets the amount; under AK ČR's 2024 contribution rules it is at least CZK 10/ha and no less than CZK 500, plus a CZK 500 registration fee.
Fee basis: area/volume-based
