Individual farmers are not members: the members are cooperatives and cooperative organisations.

Members can be agricultural production, processing and service cooperatives, other cooperatives working for the food sector and rural areas, regional auditing unions, and social and economic organisations grouping such cooperatives or individual farmers. Joining requires a written declaration and a resolution of the general meeting; the board decides on admission.
